Eidos at anchor and hauled out. Notice the solid
skeg and the Brewer "bite" in the keel.
The Galley has a three burner
stove and an oven. I removed
the electric water pump and
installed foot pump on the floor.
There is plenty of storage in the
ice box as well as the lockers.
The cockpit is roomy enough to sleep in as
well as sheltered from rough seas.I took the
dodger off because in summer it gets in the
way and is not necessary but she does have
a sun awning.
The salon is roomy and bright with opening
portholes and a hatch above the fold out
table that seats four. On the starboard side is
a six foot long bunk.
The v-berth sleeps two but is not very long
- someone who is over 6 feet tall would
have trouble fitting in.
The port side of the salon has another berth
that pulls out to make a small double after
the table leaf is dropped - suitable for a short
person or two children.
This is the quarterbeth - the biggest berth on
Eidos, however it takes a bit of maneuvering
to get in.
The head (left) has a foot pump
for water and a solar shower
hose can be lead though the
porthole for privacy.
The chart table (right) has
storage for charts under the
lid. VHF radio, AM/FM radio,
GPS and odds and ends
necessary for navigation are
stored here too.
